hi. i've missed you.

man oh man have i had a busy passed two weeks.
it makes me sad when i am so busy that i cannot post.
but it is ooooookay, because it is my belief that i rather not post than post in a rush.
this way you know, when i write you are reading something that was typed with excitement (& love, always).

i took a trip up to my college town this weekend. it. was. awesome!
what is is about that town that makes me so happy?
so peaceful. quiet. small. simple.
it is crazy to look back and think, "wow. i lived here for so many years. did so much. and now, i am gone." gotta cherish those years. random nights out. late chats with your girl friends. watching tv shows. cooking dinners. going out to eat reeeeeally unhealthy food. working late on projects. giggling till your abs fall off. i enjoyed every minute of all that.

there were tons of new restaurants and sculptures on campus. new students. cleaned up spaces and closed down places. but in the end of the day it was the same town i loved.
there is something comforting in knowing that it is still there and i can always go back to visit.

my college friends through me a surprise dinner since my birthday was last week. they totally got me! it was so wonderful. i opened the door to a room full of colorful balloons with personalized notes from each person, home made decorations & lasagna, wonderful friends, & cake! props to my best friend and boy friend for pulling that one off. made me feel beyond blessed.
